hi betty, your travel guide is quite right. rainy season as far as i know usually starts mid-september, october and last a couple of months. anyway, though rainfalls can be pretty strong they're still tropical which can be romantic. anyway i suggest, if you want to take advantage of lots of sunshine...

try Nusa Dua. well known for its white sandy beaches and turqoise water. if you don't mind fancy hotels near by. give it a shot.
